During the residency in IAP from June to August, I experienced the Korean rainy season which had a record high of heat and rain. This experience led to my discovery of a soundscape with unique color and velocity. The torrential rain and sudden wind reminded me of sound concepts like wind shear (variation in wind velocity or a phenomenon where loud noises are recorded due to wind’s motion) or wind noise. While wind noise is often defined as an error in recording. I try to take this error as an element of auditory experiments on errors.
The field recording will be soon release in presses précaires (QC,Canada)
